Join us for a very special, grown-ups only evening where we'll learn how to mix drinks at home just like a mixologist at your favorite trendy bar.
Making cocktails at home is a dying art, and a useful skill. For this class, you will learn to shake, stir, and serve three impressive, yet easy-to-master drinks.
Along with learning, there will be heavy appetizers for snacking and plenty of fun! Capacity is limited.
Leading us on this evening is Joy Summers, expert drinker and editor of Eater Twin Cities. For over 10 years she has covered the best in eating and drinking around Minneapolis & St. Paul. In that time, she's closely covered the craft cocktail scene and bent the ear of every mixologist she's met.
Drinks we'll make and sample will include a sophisticated n/a drink that will make any guest feel extra special, whether they drink alcohol or not. Up next is a Clover Club: a barely sweet little flip that's the perfect hue for Valentine's Day weekend. Last, but certainly not least, is the Old Fashioned. It's the original cocktail and one that's experiencing a bit of a moment. What started as a way to make bad whiskey palatable, has become a nuanced bit of gorgeousness in a glass. We'll play around with versions until we settle on your favorite, that you'll be able to recreate at home.
Attendees will also be sent home with a little goody bag to remember our time together.
